Obamacare

Obamacare is a law forcing Americans to have health insurance, which means they have enough income to pay. It forces employers to provide health insurance to employees, including controlling insurance companies not to decide whether patients buy insurance.

The law was used in 2010 and helped around 32 million people entrance to healthcare because, in the past, healthcare was provided to older people or low-income families.

However, it makes people pay more taxes and strike Obamacare because this insurance violates the Constitution. In 2012, the Republicans filed a lawsuit against the Supreme Court, but the court decided to keep Obamacare because it was not against the Constitution.

  The advantages

  • A greater number of Americans own health insurance

  • A greater variety of accessible coverage alternatives

  • It is no longer possible to deny coverage to those with prior medical illnesses

  • There are no time restrictions on care

  • Assist all Americans in accessing better, more affordable healthcare

  • Prescription medications are less expensive.

    The disadvantages

  • higher rates, accessible payment commitments, and higher taxes as a side effect of Obamacare.

  • Employers are cutting back on working hours in order to avoid offering perks to their employees.
