Space Tourism—Space X, Blue Origin, and Virgin Galactic
As we know, we can go to outer space from developing a high and new technology. Today, space tourism allows customers to leave Earth, so that we will go into detail. Let’s go!
Space Tourism
Space tourism contributes to government and commercial purposes, leading to a new endeavour. In the 1990s, Russian company MirCorp and the International Space Station (ISS) were the first to sell private space tourism to Dennis Tito—an American Businessman. Tito paid about $20 million for this flight and used a vehicle called Soyuz-32. After that, space tourism became more important as more suborbital and orbital tourism chances became public.
First space tourist Dennis Tito: ‘It was the greatest moment of my life’
Safety for space tourism is a thing that needs to be regulated, so the government enacts regulations to protect space tourism. They will have many tests related to outer space that you can handle when you go out of space, such as you have to take a medical exam that you can hold of stresses in that place. Moreover, you need to train what you do on spacecraft. Not only does tourism need to be rigorous, but we need to check that spacecraft are safe and ready to go. Everything is must be strict to safe and get a good experience.
Part of the finances for space explorations is very costly because of the spacecraft and many things that make this tourist expensive. By the way, if you succeed in this, you will gain much profit. Space Tourism has an impact on boosting the global economy. Many businesses of space tourists can earn money from foreigners and promote international trade. Overall costs need to be thoroughly considered, but the potential economics and opportunities can reach a goal, which is worth the risk.
The advantages of space tourism are having the potential for economic growth, constructing jobs in the private space industry, contributing income for the government, and expanding scientific knowledge. However, the disadvantages are that it is expensive to go to and not everyone can considered, which leads to a lack of diversity in the field, will limit the potential for scientific discovery, may increase demand, and high risk of safety. The company needs to be safe and reliable before tourists go on.
The future of space tourism will increase investment in space exploration and the development of new infrastructure in space, such as creating orbiting hotels, research stations, and more opportunities. Lastly, there will be a greater public interest in space tourism as it is more popular and attractive.

Space X
Space X is a space exploration and aerospace manufacturer founded in 2002 by Elon Musk. First reveal a rocket in 2006 called Dragon. Later on, have a Falcon. A disruptive influence in the global industry is its takeoff services; it is less expensive than other competitors. Moreover, they closely work with NASA to give stockpiles and lead astronauts to belong to the International Space Station and orbit Earth. Space X charges $62 million for a Falcon 9. It’s cheaper than others, like the European launcher Arianespace’s Ariane 5, which cost up to $165 million.
The critical difference of Space X is they focus on creating a reusable rocket launcher. Therefore, they called it a “Reusable Rocket”. They have a lot of achievements in their space travel, such as a Privately funded, liquid-fueled rocket (Falcon 1) to reach orbit, a Privately funded company to successfully launch, orbit and recover a spacecraft, Private company to send a spacecraft to the International Space Station, and private company to send a satellite into geosynchronous orbit.
The future of Space X plans to go past the moon and deliver astronauts to Mars, not only Earth’s orbit. They introduce a giant rocket, “Starship, ” heavier than a falcon. Indeed, this rocket will go on exploration on Mars and the moon. Moreover, the starship will be critical in NASA’s Artemis mission to send astronauts in 2025. Another project is Starlink, a global satellite internet network.
In conclusion, they will not stop there and will plan more over to interesting and out-of-space things that are interesting.
Blue Origin
An American aerospace manufacturer and space tourist company, it was established by Jeff Bezos in 2000. In the primary section, they lower the costs of space tours and develop their accessibility to people worldwide. Later, it endeavours to proceed with reusable rockets by revolutionising space resources. Blue Origins has a lot of activities, including new Shepard suborbital flights, lunar exploration, satellite deployment, and advancing space technology—all of these go beyond tourism to be more accessible and attractive to space tourism.
The achievements of Blue Origin are the success of suborbital flights, the first reusable rocket, BE-3 engine development serving the New Shepard rocket, a partnership with NASA, the New Glenn orbital rocket reached many facilitate, Launch Site Development, and contributions to space tourism through private individuals with many opportunities.
The importance of Blue Origin
· Space Accessibility: they try to decrease the cost of space travel, expand technologies for commercials and advance science.
· Technological Advancement: they use reusable and sustainable space tourism that can stimulate technologies with aerospace
· Inspiration and collaboration: they are introduced to many companies in the New generation to collaborate with a big company or various organisations to create an interesting. Blue Origin has been collaborating with NASA, inspiring a new upcoming.
The future of Blue Origin will support scientific research, resource utilisation, and human habitation on the lunar surface. They developed the blue moon lunar lander and focused on NASA’s Artemis program.

Virgin Galactic
It was founded by Sir Richard Branson in 2004. They provided space tourism suborbital flights. The primary purpose is to connect people to travel out of space and make everyone interested in space travel.
They have a spacecraft called SpaceShip that provides passengers with a short time to see outside the Earth. Some have a lot of professionals with the same goal: the spaceline for Earth. To inspire the new generation to leave space and get an experience they didn’t expect.
Achievements of Virgin Galactic’s success in a SpaceShipTwo flight run the edge of the space and spaceflight milestones. Recently, they completed 6thsuccessful research spaceflight. In the Galactic 05 mission, Virgin Galactic’s VSS went to a suborbital lab for scientific research. Additionally, they will begin to analyze post-flight until the yearly examination of the spacecraft before going on a flight and the Galactic 06 plan in January 2024.
